Ginny Baughman
Ginny Baughman is a visual artist who has lived and worked in Ohio her entire life. She obtained a BFA from the University of Dayton and an MA in Art Education from Ohio State University. After college Ginny moved to central Ohio and gained notoriety as an artist there with her traditional architectural portraits and landscapes of the area. About 10 years ago she moved into contemporary multidimensional artwork which has been featured in many shows throughout Ohio and the US. Ginny continues to work in both traditional and contemporary styles and she had participated in a wide variety of exhibitions. She has also been working as a teaching artist over the past 20 years and is continually reenergized as an artist through teaching her students. As a content based artist, Ginny works in a variety of media including drawing, painting, cut paper, fiber, sculpture, installation and sidewalk chalk. After 30 years in central Ohio, Ginny has recently moved back home to the Dayton area and is excited to get involved in the arts scene there.
