Learn the basics of quilting! We will work on terminology and more!
Prerequisite: Sewing 101 – Basic sewing knowledge – book a private lesson to catch up before the class!

The student can thread the machine and fill a bobbin, understands basic sewing terms, cutting and seam allowance
Ages: 14 and up

Charm Pack
Cotton or All-purpose polyester thread
Size 12 or 14 Microtex sewing needles
Rotary Cut
Quilting rulers – bring at least one quilting ruler or 6.5″ x 6.5″ square
Marking tools
Sewing Machine * unless you want to use mine
Piecing Foot
Traveling Ironing Board (very useful; you can make one using this tutorial too!)

Sewing machine (use mine; just let me know if you need one in the notes)

I have two irons to use during class (there might be a line; you might want to bring yours with a travel ironing board)
