Rain Barrels and Gardens

The Miami County Park District partnered with Miami County Soil and Water will host “Rain Barrels and Gardens” on April 22 starting at 6:30 p.m. at Lost Creek Reserve, 2385 E. State Route 41 east of Troy. Celebrate Earth Day by learning how to build a rain garden and make a rain barrel. Participants will be able to take their rain barrel home. Cost for class is $40 (includes rain barrel). Class is limited to 25 participants. Must register for the program by calling Miami County Soil and Water at (937) 335-7645.

Lost Creek Reserve

Rain Barrels and Gardens is taking place at Lost Creek Reserve, which is located at 2385 E. State Route 41 in Troy. Lost Creek Reserve - Great place for hiking, cross country skiing and viewing wildlife. 457 acres and 3.4 miles of trails, taking you past fields, wooded areas and the Lost Creek.

Miami County Park District - 15 parks conveniently located throughout Miami County with over 30 miles of nature trails and 10.5 miles of bike trail. We offer a variety of public programs and events throughout the year.
