Montgomery County Fairgrounds is On The Move
The Montgomery County Agricultural Society Board of Directors is pleased to announce we have officially moved to our new location 645 Infirmary Road in Dayton, Ohio.
‘It’s a wrap on S. Main after 165 years and now time for ‘new beginnings, new memories’ at the all new Fairgrounds & Event Center of Montgomery County.” Said John Yancik, president of the Agricultural Society.
“We have new buildings constructed and completion is on schedule for The Montgomery County Fair July 9-15, 2018.” He added.
To officially complete the move an American Flag retirement ceremony will take place Monday, April 2, 7:00pm at the former fairgrounds location 1043 S. Main Street across from Miami Valley Hospital.
Boy Scout Troop 47 of Brookville will handle the official duties.
Founded in January of 1917, and affiliated with the Brookville Community United Methodist Church, Boy Scout Troop 47 is one of the oldest contiguous troops in the United States producing 100 Eagle Scouts over the last 100 years.
