This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. Trail length of ~3.5 miles. One or more beer/water stops along the way!

DH4 #1628 Bacon Fest Hash (Run/Walk)

Location: Wenzler Park, 3535 Sharewood Ct, Kettering, OH 45429
Street only parking. Look for thirsty hashers hanging out in the shelter in the middle of the park. Sign in and hash!
Cost: $8 for beer drinking; otherwise, $4. Free for first time hashers!
Hare: Shig Eating Grin
Hash Trail: Mostly urban trail, ~4 miles. In the middle of trail we'll stop at Bacon Fest and indulge like little piggies until the big bad wolf Gimp huffs and puffs about us taking too long! 😜 Of course bring extra money on trail and maybe an ID. 50mm might have available some homemade crafted brown ale made with bacon to quench your thirst! 😋 ...but then again he was late in brewing the beer. 😭

Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you'll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group.
Dogs: Allowed on trail, but NOT at the festival. For some reason they don't like pets. Must be friendly to people and other dogs.
Children: Adults only for first time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. 😋
On-After: Multiple options...How about Elsa's Sports Grill with their Bad Juan's? Or maybe even The Shroyer Inn for their large cheap beers?
