Individuals and groups are invited to bring their pull tab collections to the 2nd Street Market for a friendly competition.
This family-friendly event is a great way to show children the benefits of both recycling and giving back to the community. Donations will be weighed and then poured into a large commercial dumpster provided by First Street Recycling; allowing attendees to see firsthand the remarkable things that can happen when a community “pulls” together.
Prizes are awarded to the top collectors in three categories:
Pull tabs are taken to First Street Recycling to be recycled for their salvage value. The revenue generated from these pull tabs, along with pull tabs collected at the House throughout the year, help RMHC Dayton continue to provide community, comfort, and hope to families of hospitalized children.
