From the first notes to the final breath, West Side Story is one of the most memorable musicals and greatest love stories of all time. Arthur Laurents' novel, Leonard Bernstein’s score, and Stephen Sondheim’s lyrics bring Shakespeare’s iconic love story Romeo and Juliet to life in a modern-day, emotionally-charged setting. With New York City as its backdrop, this landmark musical is lauded as one of the most innovative, heart-wrenching, and relevant musical dramas of our time. The Miami Valley Symphony Orchestra and Stage Director Brian Sharp join forces at the APAC once again to present a fully-staged production, with an incredible cast of actors, singers, dancers, and orchestral musicians, to delight the greater Dayton area this November!
