The Friends of the Dayton Metro Library’s used book sale - books, music, movies, and audiobooks.
Time to stock up on books at the Friends of the Dayton Metro Library Book Sale! The next used book sale will take place October 14 at the Northmont Branch Library.
Book Sales are Open 9:30am to Noon for FOL Members | Open to the Public Noon - 5pm
Thousands of books and AV items for all ages are available, and the Friends use the proceeds to help fund community-wide library programs.
“Book sales are a great way for families to add books and other materials to their homes without spending a lot of money,” said Jean Gaffney, Acquisition and Collection Development Manager for the Library. “Having access to interesting reading material at home is a great motivator to keep kids reading and learning.”
The sale includes used books for children, teens and adults as well as music, movies and audiobooks. Most items have been weeded from the Library’s collection. All books will be $1.00 each; AV materials (CDs, DVDs) will be buy one, get one free.
