Date: Saturday, August 1, 2026, Time: 4 pm
Location: Pinnacle Park. Warning! Google maps doesn't know this park exists! (There is a Pinnacle Park Road but that's not it!).
Drive to this address: 3050 Charlotte Mill Dr, Moraine, OH 45439 which is a PRIVATE house, then immediately turn "Left" on the park road. After a short distance you'll see the parking lot on the left. Sign-in, drink a pre-lube beer, then hash.
Cost: $8 for beer drinkers. Otherwise, $4. Free for first time hashers!
Hares: Dah Gimp
Hash Trail: This is a 4.5-ish mile A-to-A trail with a medium amount of woodland (shig). Mostly you'll encounter the shig along the narrow trails. You might want to wear high socks to avoid any chance of poison ivy. A pretty cool area that we seldom ever hash!
Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you'll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group.
Dogs: Allowed on trail. Leash is required. Must be friendly to people and other dogs.
Children: Adults only for first time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. 😋 Otherwise 18+.
On-After: Chiapas Mexican Grill, 2733 W Alex Bell Rd, Moraine, OH 45459. Margaritas sounds really good! 🤤
Things to bring/wear:
- Whistle you never blow
- Shig socks. On sale for $12!
- Hash mug or a free plastic cup. DH4 hash mugs on sale for $16!
- Change of clothes and shoes
- Camping chair
- Virgins!
