Time: 4 pm
Location: Valle View Reserve, 1105 Empire Ct, 45324, Fairborn, Ohio.
The parking lot is small, but you can also park on the west side of the street if it's full. Get there early and pre-lube at KroBar. Flights of four are $5 and craft beer pints are $3 to $5. Best place in Dayton for cheap craft beer in draft!!!
Cost: $8. Otherwise, $4 for non-drinkers. Free for first time hashers!
Hare: Dah Gimp
Hash Trail: This is a fun Gimp trail. Aren't all Gimp trails fun!!! 😁. A-to-A, approximately 4.5 miles with some shiggy. If it rains at all, you'll probably get wet muddy shoes.
Hashing in General: This is a fun run or hike where you will follow a trail of flour not knowing exactly where it will lead. One or more beer/water stops along the way! In hashing you'll will be running/walking as part of a group. The faster runners will be out ahead looking for flour marks on the ground trying to figure out which way the trail route goes. Sometimes they go the wrong way which allows the slow runners/walkers to catch up and even get ahead. This allows everyone to go at their own pace and stay together as a group.
Dogs: Allowed on trail. Leash is required. Must be friendly to people and other dogs.
Children: Adults only for first time hashers, since many of us do drink beer. 😋 Otherwise 18+.
On-After: A number of options. We can go back to KroBar for a round of cheap beer then head off to a restaurant. I'm thinking of Twin Peaks, 2661 Fairfield Cmns, Dayton, OH 45431. We can watch the games and some twin peaks during commercials! 😁
