We dove into Corner Kitchen's Tuna Crudo, a masterpiece with marinated fennel, pickled coriander, and orange-infused olive oil topped with cilantro. Their spicy Sesame Barbecue Meatballs, coupled with pickled carrot and jalapeño slaw, were a flavor fiesta and among my top picks of the night.

Ten years after opening Salar in the Oregon District, Chef Margot Blondet opened a second upscale eatery, Manna on Franklin Street in Centerville last May. At the event, Chef Margot, flanked by her teams from both locations, showcased Manna's Boeuf Bourguignon and Mashed Potatoes (main photo above) - a dish akin to a warm, comforting embrace with its tender, slow-cooked beef and creamy potatoes.

Chef Dana Downs of Roost, fresh from her Food Network spotlight, dished out two contest dishes. The Duck Confit from 'Guy's Grocery Games' with butternut squash, ricotta, and crespelle in a blood orange deli glaze. Her roasted Atlantic Salmon, a hit from 'Super Chef Grudge Match', was an artful blend of beets, horseradish, gremolata, and soy & coconut caramel - a dish clearly deserving of judge's praise.

Primo Italian Steakhouse from Middletown presented a flawless medium-rare New York Strip steak, perfectly paired with mashed potatoes - a bite of pure bliss.

Curiosity piqued, I marveled at Rip Rap Roadhouse's ability to source green tomatoes in January. Their Fried Green Tomato with Corn Salsa was a surprisingly delightful twist.

For dessert aficionados, Amber Rose’s Bread Pudding and Greek Street’s Baklava were standout examples of comfort food genius.

A heads-up to fellow foodies: Make sure to check restaurant hours before venturing out. Restaurant Week spans from Sunday, January 21 to Sunday, January 28, but not all participating eateries are open daily. Dive into this culinary journey – it's a feast not to be missed!"
