ABOUT FORTE:

Forte is the premier contemporary a cappella group at Centerville High School in Centerville, Ohio. Forte is a three time national runner-up in the ICHSA (International Championships of High School A Cappella) in New York City. In 2015 they opened up for the national Sing-Off tour in Cleveland, Ohio. 

Forte was the first ever high school a cappella group to release a CD of all-original songs written by its members and they just released their second all-originals album this year. Their all-original CD, Life’s So Lyrical, was nominated for five, Contemporary A Cappella Recording Awards (CARAs) and won for Best Overall High School CD. Forte’s recordings were featured on the national compilation Best of High School A Cappella (BOHSA) albums in 2012, 2013, 2014, and 2015 as well as on the prestigious Sing 9 compilation. Forte’s music can be purchased on iTunes and LOUDR.

Forte has performed for or with artists such as Andy Grammer, Kirstin Maldonado, Pentatonix, Arora (formerly Sonos), JoJo, Mario Jose, Delilah, Overboard, Voice Play, The Exchange, Eliot Sloan of Blessid Union of Souls, and Deke Sharon (musical director of NBC’s The Sing-Off and the box office hit movies Pitch Perfect 1 and 2. In addition, Forte opened for the world-renowned a cappella group The House Jacks.

ABOUT NOVAE:

Novae is a student a cappella group at Centerville High School. Founded in 2013, the group is focused on spreading the love of music and the joys of singing throughout their communities. Novae was selected to compete at the 2014 Semifinal of the International Championship of High School A Cappella, and placed fourth.

ABOUT SOULFEGE:

Soulfege is a group of kids that are a part of Symphonic choir. Their focus is vocal jazz as well as large group contemporary a cappella.

This will be their debut performance.

Featuring Shams Ahmed of the Nor'easters as emcee, special guests, amazing music and Forte alumni, this concert is sure to be phenomenal! Tickets can be purchased for $10 at the door.
