On March 24, restaurants across the nation are asking Americans to support the industry by joining the “Great American Takeout.”
The Coronovirus COVID-19 pandemic has not only been a health crisis, but an economic crisis too - particularly in the small business community. You can help your local restaurant industry today, but also for the duration of the Ohio stay-at-home order by ordering takeout or delivery.
Amy Zahora, Executive Director of the Miami Valley Restaurant Association (MVRA) said local restaurants have risen to the challenge caused by the coronavirus pandemic, many offering carryout for the first time, with some changing their menus on a weekly basis.
"Now is the time more than ever to support your local restaurants, and from what I am hearing from our local restaurants, the community is really showing them support," Zahora said. "Order carry-out, buy a gift certificate and support our restaurant community."
