A World A'Fair International Festival returns to downtown Dayton in 2027
For more than 40 years, generations of families from across the Miami Valley gathered downtown to experience cultures from around the world through authentic food, live entertainment, and unforgettable traditions. After successfully continuing the festival at the Greene County Expo Center following the pandemic, we’re excited to bring Ohio’s oldest and largest international festival back to the heart of Dayton.

A World A’Fair is a three-day celebration of diversity that showcases the food, dancing, music, costumes, and cultural exhibits representing the ethnic backgrounds and cultures of Dayton and the greater Miami Valley. Join us for an incredible weekend featuring:
🌎 Authentic international cuisine
🎶 Continuous live music and cultural performances
💃 Traditional dance from around the world
🎨 Cultural exhibits, artisan crafts, and interactive displays
👨👩👧 Family-friendly activities, including youth passports and experiences for all ages
The family-friendly festival will feature booths from organizations representing over 35 countries, all of whom are non-profits. There will also be live entertainment with performances from both the local groups as well as regional, national and even international performing groups.
