The importance of brain health captured in educational exhibit
Wright Memorial Public Library is partnering with the Brain Health Collective to host an educational exhibit that addresses traumatic brain injury, prevention, and lifelong healthy brain habits. It is located in the Wright Library Community Room and can be viewed during open hours when the meeting room is not in use.
A special Open House will take place on March 24 from 3:00 - 4:30 p.m. in the Wright Library Community Room with presentations from three University of Dayton faculty. Drs. Susan Davies and Scott Hall will speak on the mental health component of comprehensive brain health and Dr. Diana Cuy Castellanos will address nutrition and dietetics.
The Brain Health Collective is a partnership between the University of Dayton, The Dayton Foundation and multiple individuals and organizations. The collective is dedicated to producing interdisciplinary research and community partnerships that contribute to the greater good surrounding brain health.
This exhibit is made possible by the Alcohol, Drug Addiction and Mental Health Services (ADAMHS), Premier Health, Goodwill Easter Seals, Clark County ESC, University of Dayton, and the Dayton Foundation.
