Dayton's Cosmic Play Parties
Cosmic Play Parties presents Where the Wild Things Are Festival and Campout!
The theme for this outdoor festival celebrates the Inner Child! Dress as your inner child or their imaginary friend and enter a world of nostalgia, play, dance and creativity. Imagine a psychedelic summer camp with all your coolest friends! Costumes encouraged!
Gates open at 7 pm for general admission. Campers can set up at 5 pm or later.
Local DJ’s and performers, fire dancers and flow artists will be there to immerse you in a magical world of imagination and play. Drum around the bonfire and lay under the stars for a transformative group sound bath. Star gaze, eat smores and tell spooky stories around the fire or spin in circles till you fall over! It’s all about play.
This beautiful, wooded setting is perfect for camping under the trees, drumming around the fire and connecting to your most primal and playful selves. As always, this themed event features experience stations and your favorite childhood games with some crazy nostalgic twists and turns. Your inner child will love getting messy and creative in the art tent!
Enter The Portal Tent to become transformed by sound, energy, lights, body work, ASMR, massage, and healing.
There will be free wellness services and experiences as well as all the coolest local vendors and intuitive readers. So many experiences and activities your head will spin!
Food, drinks and adult beverages for sale.
Prepay Tickets are only $25 and $30 at the door.
Camping: If you would like to camp and enjoy a free catered pancake and veggie sausage breakfast it is an additional $25 per person.
Campers can arrive by 5 pm to set up their camps. There are outdoor flushable toilets and bathrooms but no electric at camp sites. There will be a prize for the most original campsite!
