Women's Devotional Creative Gathering

This one is for the ladies. For her, and me, and you, and for the Goddess. 

Creativity is a stream of playfulness and possibility, flowing directly from the Goddess herself. Come, connect with others who are creating as a prayer to the Divine Feminine. Maybe you’re writing a poem, knitting a scarf, or trying your hand at some floral watercolor. If it is made in reverence to life… to quietness, truth, peace, play, grief, or even to the Goddess Herself, you are encouraged to come and share it with others, here. 

Bring any artistic endeavor you are working on, or, use the supplies we are featuring for the day.

We always have supplies on hand for:

-coloring (pencils, markers, crayons, adult coloring books and paper)

-collages (coffee table books, magazines) 

-goddess trading cards (little 3”x2” pieces of art… make em, trade em, have a ball!)

-ransdom style love letters to anyone who may deserve one

-any cutting or gluing needs

Specialty craft supplies possibilities:

-stamps

-paper punches

-black out poetry

-book binding materials

-watercolor

-paper mandalas

-sun developed pictures with plants (cyanotypes) 

-air dry clay 

-miniature weavings 

The container will be open from 6-9pm. Come and go as you please, there is no formal start time. 

Snack potluck - bring something simple and delicious to share, if you feel called! Chocolate, fruit, etc…

Work with care and love, with devotion. Creating is communion with the Goddess. Being in community, connecting with your sisters, this is communion with the Goddess. Showing up to nurture yourself, this is a prayer.

We offer you a doorway, once a month, to plug in. Every glue stick, bit of ribbon, or zigzag scissors is a door knob to Her. So let us pray.

PARKING: The Davis-Linden Building enforces a “no parking without a pass.” All guests are asked to park in Guest Parking located on Davis Avenue unless they have ADA needs.
