Creativity as Prayer is a monthly 2-hour morning gathering where creating becomes an act of devotion. Let yourself play; in a world of hustle and consumer culture, play is an act of resistance.
We begin with a soft start — time to arrive, settle, and be gently oriented to the craft of the month, the materials, and the tools. From there, the space opens.
Creative flow is a form of prayer. It is a way of listening and connecting to your Higher Power, to a deeper current, to something that moves beyond thought. This space invites you out of your head and into your heart and hands. Here, peace, surrender, and play are not indulgences but pathways. Come see what the divine creates through you when you allow yourself to become a vessel.
Part fellowship, part creative endeavor, held lightly and without pressure. You are welcome to stay for the full time, leave when you feel complete, or move as slow as you like and simply continue your work at home.
Things to know:
-Each month features a different creative endeavor
-No prior art or craft experience is needed
-This gathering is donation-based to cover the cost of supplies
-Come as you are — curious, inspired, without expectation of what you might create!
-Tea and coffee are always available
-Please RVSP so we know how many seats to set up for!

PARKING: All guests are asked to park in Guest Parking located on Davis Avenue unless they have ADA needs. Please do not park in the main courtyard as this is reserved for individuals who have accessibility needs and tenants of the Davis-Linden Building.
