Join us for this patriotic tribute in memory of the men and women who served and sacrificed for our great nation, and please take the time to honor and remember our veterans on this important day.
Memorial Day is Monday, May 25 and the community is invited to participate in our annual Memorial Day Parade. The parade begins at 2:00 PM on S. Main Street followed by a brief ceremony at Wade Field. It is a walking parade, with the exception of military vehicles. Groups and individuals interested in joining the parade should meet in the area behind River Valley Credit Union adjacent to Florence Drive at 1:30 p.m. and check in with the Grand Marshal. Complimentary refreshments and picnic fare will be available following the ceremony.
