Peoples Community C.M.E. Church Celebrates 78 Years

Peoples Community C.M.E. Church invites the community to celebrate its 78th Church Anniversary on Sunday, September 27, 2026, at 11:00 a.m.

This special Sunday Morning Worship Service will be held at Peoples Community C.M.E. Church, 2525 N. Gettysburg Ave., Dayton, Ohio.

The anniversary theme is “Harvesting a New Generation,” Matthew 9:35–38. The guest preacher will be Rev. Harlan K. Jones, Presiding Elder of the CDI District, with Rev. Dr. Kenneth E. Jones serving as Host Pastor.

Come celebrate 78 years of faith, family, fellowship, and service as Peoples Community honors its rich heritage from 1948 to the present and looks forward to the generations ahead.

A fellowship luncheon will be served immediately following the worship service.
