Sweet Freedom

Sweet Freedom: Abolition.Collaboration.Education.  Safe Harbor House and Oasis House are linking arms to provide an educational community event on the topics of sex-trafficking, trauma, and addiction in our communities.

Event highlights will include the Abolition Ohio "Walk of Life" simulation, local musicians, dancers, and spoken word artists, and readings of local survivor stories.  Guests will enjoy elegant desserts provide by local pastry chefs and bakers, who will be using slavery-free baking ingredients as a way to honor the cause.  Several decadent desserts will be auctioned off throughout the evening as well.

The event is free - there will be a robust appeal for donations at the end of the event.  In the spirit of collaboration, all proceeds will be SHARED by Safe Harbor House and Oasis House.

Safe Harbor and Oasis House are both non-profit organizations that work with women who have been victimized by sex trafficking, the sex industry, and addiction in the Springfield and Miami Valley areas.
