LORE Special Event: Story and Spoken Word
This special event will bring together story and poetry for a powerful evening of spoken art.
Bridget will share 4 stories that follow each of the 4 cars that she has owned in her lifetime, sharing love and the lessons found in each vehicle.
Atlas' set will include spoken word, narrative storytelling, and music as he performs pieces from his next book called The Token Project. The Token Project examines masculinity, blackness, and black culture while playing on the term "token." He investigates social political issues that are infecting his experience and how he navigates the world. These issues complicate his own identity and how others fail to see him as a human being.
