Downtown Germantown is elated to be bringing back Galentine’s Day, a festive celebration in its second year, this Thursday, February 12th (4PM-9PM) where local businesses will feature themed workshops, special activities, treats, as well as live music. This Galentine’s Day Event invites female residents and visitors alike to experience the best of our community, featuring:
• Bracelet making at Germantown Public Library (5-7 pm)
• Galentine’s Day Bingo at Alleyway Cafe (7-9 pm)
• Drink features, hair tinsel, permanent jewelry, and chair massages at New View Nutrition (5-8 pm)
• Tiny tattoos, candle pouring, and charcuterie snacks & drinks at Harvest Moon (5-8 pm)
• Sourdough cookie samples, honey tasting, pressed flower make-and-take, stamping workshop, and live acoustic music at Hedy & Company (5-8 pm)
• Permanent jewelry! Buy 2 get $20 off, Buy 3 get a free charm at Milk & Hunny
• Live Music featuring Noah Back, drink features, and a Girls Night Out menu to include small plates and sharables at the the Florentine Restaurant (6-9 pm)
• Galentine's Day Photo Booth along with drink/food specials at Laffs
• Homefolk Market's beginner crochet class and drink features (red velvet latte with cream cheese cold foam) at the Creamery at Market & Main
“Last year was a lot of fun, and we are expecting the same from this year. Our local businesses have done an excellent job of preparing activities and specials that participants are sure to love!” said Sheree Henson, Downtown Event Coordinator.
