From Page to Screen - Book and Movie Discussion

In collaboration with the Enrichment Center at Washington Township's RecWest, the Library is launching a new series called From Page to Screen. Each month we will read the book, watch the movie, and discuss! Special thanks to Synergy HomeCare for providing the popcorn.

Read The Woman in Black (Fiction-1983) by Susan Hill. October's selection is not gory, but it's a psychological ghost story set in the style of a traditional gothic novel. The plot concerns a mysterious spectre that haunts a small English town, heralding impending deaths. Copies of this book will be available at Woodbourne Library beginning September 3. You may return the book when you come to the movie.

The film The Woman in Black stars Daniel Radcliffe, rated PG-13, with a running time of 94 minutes.

Join us, if you dare! The program is free, but registration is required to ensure adequate seating (and popcorn!).
