Friends Fight Fear Book Signing
A local child author and Southdale Elementary student who is battling Leukemia has had the opportunity to co-author a creative, inspiring, and whimsical book entitled, "Friends Fight Fear." This colorful tale details the adventures of Maggie, a feathered friend who is embarking on an exciting chapter in life. Maggie is adventurous but a bit of a scaredy-cat who lives an interesting life in a museum. Something "dredful" also lurks in the museum and it will take all of Maggie's courage, plus the courage of her friends, to get rid of the "dred" that's within. Book price is $25. Proceeds from the book sale will go to support her treatment, the impact of The Red Fred project in other chi'dren's lives as they write their stories, and Dayton Children's Hospital.
