Dayton Philharmonic - Worlds of Wonder

Internationally renowned cellist Mark Kosower, principal cellist for the Cleveland Symphony, will showcase his expertise in Victor Herbert’s rarely heard Cello Concerto No. 2, one of his finest works outside the realm of his operettas.  Kosower, a faculty member at the Cleveland Institute of Music, has performed with numerous symphonies across the country as well as the Hong Kong Philharmonic, the Orchestre de Paris, and the Brazilian Symphony Orchestra.  Program also includes works by Walton, Dvorák, and DPAA’s Music Alive! Composer-in-Residence Stella Sung.

Dayton Philharmonic - Worlds of Wonder is taking place at The Schuster Center, which is located at 1 W 2nd St in Dayton. The Schuster Center - Benjamin and Marian Schuster Performing Arts Center - providing a world-class facility for the best in local, national and international performing artists. Can accommodate up to 2,300 for meetings or 500 banquets.
