City of Dayton Fireworks at Dayton's Kettering Field - July 3
Celebrate Independence Day in Dayton!
The annual "Lights in Flight fireworks are scheduled for July 3 at Kettering Field
Lights in Flight, the Dayton region's most spectacular fireworks display, returns to Dayton on Thursday, July 3.
The annual fireworks show produced by the City of Dayton Department of Recreation will take place at Kettering Field, just north of downtown Dayton in the McCook Field neighborhood.
Key things to know:
- Fireworks will take flight on July 3 at 10 p.m.
- The official viewing area at Kettering Field opens at 6 p.m.
- Food trucks 6 p.m. to 10 p.m.
- BOOM Zone 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with inflatables and games for kids 12 and under
Bring chairs or blankets for seating. Parking in the area will be limited; it is suggested visitors arrive early.
Due to the location of the fireworks, people will likely not be able to view them from RiverScape MetroPark or some areas downtown.
