Neurographic Water Color Experience

This hands-on workshop invites you to explore the calming and colorful world of neurographic art, a simple yet powerful way to unwind, express yourself, and connect with others.

No experience is needed! Matthew, who has taught at both the Dayton Art Institute and the University of Dayton, will guide participants through a fun, step-by-step process using watercolors, oil pastels, and more.

Enjoy a welcoming atmosphere with light refreshments and great company while you create something truly unique.

Session Options (Participants must select one session. Both sessions offer the same experience.)

Session A: 6:00–7:00 p.m.

Session B: 7:30–8:30 p.m.

Matthew Burgy is a kinetic sculptor and visual artist based in Waynesville, Ohio. He currently works full-time out of his studio and gallery at the Front Street studios in Dayton. With over a decade of experience as a Museum Educator: Studio Specialist at the Dayton Art Institute and as an art education adjunct professor at the University of Dayton, Matthew brings both technical expertise and a passion for community-based art education.

His artistic practice spans a variety of media, including painting, drawing, printmaking, and jewelry. Inspired by nature and movement, Matthew began his professional art career in 2005 and continues to share his love of creativity through engaging workshops and exhibitions.
