We are disappointed to announce the 2020 Ohio Challenge Hot Air Balloon Festival scheduled for July 17 & 18 has been cancelled.

Statement from The Ohio Challenge Executive Committee:
 
Dear Ohio Challenge Fans,
 
At this time, your health and safety are our top priority. With that in mind, the Ohio Challenge Executive Committee has made the decision to cancel the 2020 Ohio Challenge Balloon Festival. This decision was made based on the CDC’s and state’s recommendations regarding large events. Our team has explore multiple options, however we feel the health risks are too great to ensure your safety at this time.
 
We would like to recognize our sponsors, volunteers, vendors, balloon pilots, skydivers, and the public for your commitment to the event over the past 18 years. It is your enthusiasm and love for the event that drives us to provide the most memorable experience possible year after year and we are excited to begin planning for 2021!
 
Mark your calendars for 7/16/21-7/18/21 when we’ll celebrate the 19th year of the festival. We encourage you all to continue to follow us on Facebook for updates regarding next year’s event! We hope you are all staying safe and healthy at this time.
