Described as a “love letter to Black music,” it features influences from gospel, Afro-beats, 70s funk, and Stevie Wonder. The album is a collaborative effort, involving artists like Casey Benjamin, Kenyatta Beasley, Bilal, and rising vocalists. “We Belong” showcases freedom in all its forms, emphasizing community and connection. Gallab’s journey through this album reflects his growth and the collective spirit of the music.
