Toe Up Sock Knitting Class
Join the world of sock knitting with this fun toe-up beginner class! This class is conducted in 3 2-hour sessions over three weeks.
Skills required: knit & purl
Skills Learned: Judy's Magic Cast-On, increasing and decreasing, turn a heel, make a ribbed cuff, knitting in the round on two circular needles, determine the number of stitches you need to fit your foot, pick up stitches, stretchy bind-off
Materials:
- Size 1 16" circular needle
- Size 1 24" circular needle
- 1 skein sock yarn
- Sock pattern (provided)
- Scissors and darning needle
Preparation: Come to the store early enough to purchase your supplies and wind your yarn into balls. You are welcome to bring your own if you already have them or our staff is happy to help you!
