Pumpkin Quilt Block

Come make this adorable pumpkin quilt square with me! You will be required to have all pieces cut out prior to class. Please bring all tools requests as well which will aid in the process. Some products can be purchased at the studio during class for a discount.

We will NOT be quilting and binding this block. This class will only be for piecing the quilt square together.

Please make sure to bring all materials with you for classes, due to COVID19 I will no longer have communal supplies like scissors, pins, needles, etc.

Sewing Machine (if you need to borrow one) — note you need one please in additional notes at checkout.

Also, MASKS are REQUIRED for all classes at this time.

Ages: 13 and older

Max Students: 8

Pre-requisite: Sewing 101 or comparable skill (must know seam allowance, how to thread the machine and fill a bobbin, understands cutting and marking fabric)

Materials to bring:
****You will receive a download of the block cutting and pattern.

Please PRECUT all pieces prior to class.

This will allow for more time to piece it together.

1 Fat Quarter Main color of pumpkin
1 Fat Quarter of Secondary color pumpkin – (1 Fat Quarter of 3rd pumpkin color (if wanting 3 colors)

1 scrap of black fabric or brown for stem measuring at least 3.5″ x 4″
1 Fat Quarter for Background color

Cotton Thread White  (highly recommend Aurfil)Sewing machine with fresh new microtex size 12 needle
Bobbin
Sewing Kit (good scissors, ruler, marking tool, glass head pins)
Hard ruler
12.5 x 12.5 quilt square
Marking tool (frixionpen or chalk pencil)

*If choosing to use rotary tools, you MUST bring your own rotary cutter and squares. There are mats on each table to use as well as irons.
