Holiday Kokedama Workshop

3 - 5PM at Now and Zen DIY Studio

Kokedama (Ko-ka-DAH-ma) is a unique and beautiful Japanese garden art where moss and soil are sculpted into a round shape around a plant or tree. It is associated with the beauty and tranquility of bonsai.

In this hands-on, artist lead workshop you’ll create 2-3 beautiful and tranquil Kokedama, 1 with a holiday poinsettia and the others with a fern of your choice to keep after the holidays! The atmosphere is relaxed, fun and appropriate for all experience levels. You’ll also receive information on kokedama care, and creative ways to display your kokedama.

This workshop includes;

» 2-hour, hands-on instruction and assistance

» Basic knowledge and care for kokedama

» All supplies, plants, moss, etc., necessary to complete project

» Complimentary refreshments

» 2-3 completed approximately 6” kokedama with plant hanger included or display dishes available for purchase
