Hands-on Flute for Kids

Explore the wonder and fun of the flute!

Meet Gretchen Germann of GIFT Flute Studio, an expert flautist who will perform flute music, share flute facts, and get kids ages 4-12 hands-on with flutes and flute accessories. Germann has a BA in music education, a MM in flute performance, and additional training in Orff, KinderFlute and Suzuki Flute. She teaches primarily at her home studio in Kettering but also works with the University of Dayton's New Horizons program for adults and often teaches flute in the public schools of Kettering, Centerville, and Spring Valley. Most recently Gretchen has taken a position as flute instructor and lead teacher for Q the Music Band serving underprivileged students in the Dayton Public schools under the direction of Dayton Performing Arts Alliance.
