Visit with Santa Claus
Update for 2020 - SANTA CLAUS visits EVERY night starting Dec 1st through Dec 23rd (off Christmas Eve - because, let's face it...we all KNOW Santa is WAY too busy on Christmas Eve!) He will be waving to vehicles between the hours of 6:00 - 8:30 p.m. It will be important that attendees know that they can only wave to Santa from their vehicles. He will not be able to take pictures or come up to vehicles. Santa has to stay healthy for his big night!
There will be a "Letters to Santa" drop box that attendees can use as they drive by. We will also be posting messages from Santa on our Facebook page - follow us on Facebook @FortStClairWhisperingChristmas
Local groups, churches & businesses will be handing out pre-packaged, store bought treats to attendees as they drive by between the hours of 6:00 - 8:30 p.m.
Restrooms will not be available this year, as the event is drive thru only.
No parking available. Visitors must remain in their vehicle and continue to move through the park. No parking, stopping, or exiting vehicle.
No admission fee; however, donations are greatly appreciated to help keep the lights on, purchase new displays and lighting supplies, and help to maintain the park grounds for future generations. The entire set up and take down labor is provided by 100% VOLUNTEERS! This amazing annual holiday tradition is brought to you strictly through donations. Please donate so that we can keep the lights on!

The History of Whispering Christmas
It all started with a few Christmas-loving people and 800 lights back in 1987. Today, there are nearly 2 million lights burning bright for your holiday enjoyment! Drive the winding, paved road through the Park to enjoy the spectacular Christmas lights display. Each year something new is added to this fabulous event. This year, we are proud to say that almost all of our displays have been switched to LED bulbs—to save energy and provide a brighter presentation. Fort St. Clair Park is an impressive landmark of approximately 77 acres with picnic areas, large grassy fields and woods. The Park is open to the public April through October with access to the playground and the Cabins are available to rent for special occasions. Walkers may enjoy the Park year-round.
We are always looking for more volunteers to help with our magnificent event. Please contact the Whispering Christmas Committee with any questions you may have. Our email address is firstname.lastname@example.org or visit us on Facebook.
