'41 Hope 5k' Blake LaForce Memorial Run / Walk

The goal is to build the character in the Vandalia-Butler student athlete, and learn what it takes, to Compete, Persevere, and Win, in sports and life.  Since 2010, the fund has awarded 16 scholarships (totaling $32,000), to girls and boys equally, in all sports, Kickline and Cheerleading.  Also, funds can be awarded to enhance the student athlete’s high school experience is also an ongoing objective of the Blake LaForce #41 Memorial Fund.

The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society has joined forces, with the 41 Hope 5k and the Blake LaForce #41 Memorial Fund to help find a cure for blood cancers.  The LLS will receive 25% of the net proceeds and sponsorship donations.
