Stars of the Philharmonic
The Dayton Philharmonic Orchestra proudly spotlights its own as Associate Concertmaster Aurelian Oprea and Principal Trombone Tim Anderson headline Stars of the Philharmonic, an eclectic concert melding classic works with a dose of the contemporary. This diverse program includes selections set to highlight each of the stars, including Keller’s 2011 Not In My Name, Bach’s Violin Concerto No. 2, Albrechtsberger’s Trombone Concerto in B-flat major, and Mozart’s lively Symphony No. 38 in D major.
