VoicePlay at The Fraze
Fit for all ages, VoicePlay’s recordings and concerts are an impossible to miss hit which have to be heard to be believed.
Original. Imaginative. Ridiculous. Origimagidiculous. Though the name has changed, the sound remains ever as magical. Based in Orlando, FL, VoicePlay (formerly 42Five) performs their own incredible brand of entertainment across the country and around the world. What began quite literally as a street corner barbershop act has now evolved into an internationally acclaimed touring sensation. VoicePlay is unlike any theatrical experience available today, recreating the orchestrated sound of an entire musical production with nothing but the human voice.
Kettering's own Eleventh Hour: You don’t want to miss the talents of these amazing students.
Eleventh Hour is our very own a cappella group from Kettering Fairmont High School. Throughout the years, this group has been on NBC’s The Sing-Off, and has performed locally in many festival and events. In the Summer of 2011 this group performed on the Fraze stage with fellow a cappella and The Sing-Off stars, Committed, and again in 2013 with Street Corner Symphony. What makes this group unique is their large degree of student ownership. While they do get plenty of guidance, they really have a large say in their band. They choose music, arrange music, plan gigs, and learn all along the way. This “working band” format is a tool used to educate the members as musicians and as young adults.
