Join Glen Helen Raptor Center Director, Rebecca Jaramillo for an up close look at live Ohio native owls and learn about their special adaptations that make them excellent nocturnal hunters. Explore some of the ways owls have infiltrated various cultures around the world. Tickets required. Early purchase strongly encouraged; sell-out expected. Auditorium. Sat. May 14. 7-8:15pm. $5.

FAQ's 

Are tickets available at the door?

Pre-event ticket purchases are strongly suggested. 

The best method for purchasing tickets is through Online Registration as it helps us to prepare for the event. Online registration is available until 30 minutes prior to the event or until the group maximum is met, whichever comes first. If walk-in (cash only) payment/registration is available, it will be noted in the event description. 

Since we are a nonprofit organization, your online ticket purchase serves as a donation receipt. We appreciate your cooperation.

Are there ID requirements or age limitations?

Please show your ID at check-in. (The ticket holder will check in when all party members arrive.)

What are my parking options at the event?

Participants may park in the Glen Helen parking lot, located at 405 Corry Street, Yellow Springs. If the parking lot is full, parking is available across the street in the overflow lot adjacent to the Antioch College Dorm; on the corner of Limestone and Corry Streets. Please DO NOT park in the dorm parking lot. Your vehicle may be towed.

Do I need to bring my printed ticket?

No. We do our best to minimize paper waste. Please bring your ID to check-in digitally.

Upon arrival, please check-in with a Glen Helen Staff Member at the front desk.

What can/can't I bring to the event?

Please dress comfortably and appropriately for expected weather conditions.  Closed-toe shoes are suggested - you will walk upon gravel and a short trail before reaching the building. 

Though we are a pet-friendly preserve, pets are not permitted for indoor events. I We appreciate your understanding.

Will weather cause this event to cancel?

If poor conditions occur, this hike may be rescheduled or canceled. Participants will be contacted by email at least 2 hours prior to the event.

Is my registration/ticket transferrable?

Please let us know if you wish to transfer your ticket to another person. Call Tina at 937-679-1902 or email at tspencer @glenhelen.org.

What is the refund policy?

We hope you are able to attend. In the event that a refund is necessary, please log into your Eventbrite account, go to Current Orders by clicking on My Tickets. When you find your order, click on it. Look for a button to Request a Refund and fill out the short contact form. Please include your order number and phone number to assist us in processing your request.

Refund requests must be received by 5 pm on the Wednesday before the event.

If you are unable to make it to this event and decide not to request a refund or your request comes after the refund deadline, please know that 100% of your ticket value has been donated to Glen Helen, to support ecological education programming and environmental protection efforts. Your donation is tax deductible. Thank you. We appreciate your support.
