Urban Adventures Summer Camp registration begins April 6
Registration for the City of Dayton's Urban Adventures Summer Camp begins April 6. The week-long day camps are designed for ages 6 to 12 and are scheduled for Monday through Friday beginning June 7 and continuing for eight weeks.
The camp fee is $80 weekly, with a 10% discount for registration of four or more weeks. Camperships are available for eligible families. To register, contact the Lohrey Recreation Center at 937-333-3131 or the Northwest Recreation Center at 937-333-3322.
Activities include gym play, arts/crafts, and outdoor fun. Groups will swim twice weekly. New this year: The Dayton Sprouts program, with activities and information about healthy eating, gardening and sustainability.
COVID-related health protocols will be observed. As such, there will be no fieldtrips this year, but guest organizations will present programming to campers.
