In addition to scheduled and pick-up Role-playing-games/Board/Card games, the event will include panels on game design, a game library where you can check-out a variety of games, Friday night Karaoke, a costume contest on Saturday, numerous daily door prizes, as well as hosting special guests form local podcasters, streamers, and TikTok D&D content creators.  There will be over 20 local vendors and a selection of local game designers play-testing new games.

Most events are free after a badge purchase. Badges are just $50 for the entire weekend and Children 12 and under are free with an adult/guardian badge.  Single day badges are available.  Friday only (9 a.m. – 11 p.m.) $20; Saturday only (9 a.m. – 11 p.m.) $25; Sunday only (9 a.m.-5:30 p.m.).  Attendees can arrive Friday after 5 p.m. and stay the rest of the evening for just $5.

“The Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau is pleased to welcome AcadeCon back to Dayton and the Dayton Convention Center for their 10th anniversary.  Event guests are encouraged to overnight at the designated convention hotel – The Holiday Inn Express & Suites Dayton Southwest, University Area on Edwin C. Moses Blvd (937-250-6400)” states Dayton Convention & Visitors Bureau President & CEO Jacquelyn Y.
