With Beavercreek making news over a trademark dispute involving a cartoon beaver, we thought it was the perfect time to celebrate the community's own collection of painted beaver statues
In 2005, Beavercreek celebrated its 25th anniversary with a community art project featuring 25 oversized fiberglass beaver statues, along with the installation of the town clock tower at the corner of N. Fairfield Road and Dayton-Xenia Road. Each statue stands 6½ feet tall, weighs about 250 pounds, and was designed by a local artist. After the celebration, some were auctioned to benefit local programs, and many are now located around Beavercreek, with most at Beavercreek City Schools buildings.
