Carillon Park - Dayton
Carillon Historical Park, operated by Dayton History, is a sprawling 65-acre open-air museum that serves as the crown jewel of Dayton's heritage
Established in 1950 by industrialist Colonel Edward A. Deeds and his wife Edith Walton Deeds, the park was designed by the Olmsted Brothers (famed for New York’s Central Park) to showcase the inventions and industries that "changed the world."
Today, it is home to the Wright Brothers National Museum, featuring the original 1905 Wright Flyer III, as well as over 30 historic structures ranging from the 1796 Newcom Tavern to the Carillon Brewing Co., a fully operational 1850s-style brewery.
