Experience The Dublin Pub

With St. Patrick’s Day fast approaching, you might be considering which Irish restaurant to visit in the Dayton area to help get into the spirit. Dublin Pub offers a wonderful Irish ambiance paired with an ample selection of Irish beers and whiskeys along with a full menu of delicious food.

Dublin PubThe dark wood walls of Dublin Pub make you feel like you got turned around in the Oregon District and ended up in a pub in Ireland with a large bar area and a roaring fire on the hearth. One birthday I celebrated at Dublin Pub was made extra special when an ensemble of Irish musicians came together for a Gaelic jam session.

Dublin Pub FoodBeer at Dublin Pub is its own experience. They offer Guinness draft at all times, not just special occasions, and a selection of other Irish beers to fall in love with. The whiskey selection is amazing, with long descriptions of what they have available so you know the specifics of each one you would want to try. Bring your whiskey aficionado friends and they will no doubt be impressed! I also love their mixed drinks; standouts include the Irish Quaalude and Emerald Lemonade.

Their menu offers tons of delicious options to please everyone. They have dishes that will satisfy your taste for Ireland as well as healthier food to conserve calories (so that you have more room in your diet for Guinness, of course!).

If you’re in the mood for potato soup, you’ve come to the right place: Dublin Pub offers a World Famous Potato Soup that has earned the title by being flavorful and as filling as any meal.

The salmon salad comes with a huge slab of perfectly prepared salmon over a bed of greens and cucumbers, with a delicious vinaigrette on the side.

The Bully Beef Shot, I’m told, is amazing.

They offer daily specials so make sure to ask about them before making up your mind. I also like to substitute mashed potatoes or garlic green beans instead of fries to make the meal seem like homemade, but better!

Dublin Pub is a great place to celebrate St. Patrick’s Day (check out their party), birthdays, or any day, really!
