Panera customers can round up to help Humane Society in January

Panera Bread and the Humane Society of Greater Dayton are teaming up this month to help homeless animals in the Miami Valley.

Throughout the entire month of January, Panera Bread’s largest franchisee, Covelli Enterprises, will support the Humane Society of Greater Dayton through the Covelli Cares Change Roll-Up Program in all 13 Panera Bread locations in the Greater Dayton region.

Customers are encouraged to round up their bill totals to the nearest dollar - or more - at any of Panera Bread’s Miami Valley locations. 100% of the donations from this program will be donated to take care of the animals as they wait to find their forever homes.

"Together when we roll-up our change we are changing the life of a pet in need," said Brian Weltge, president and CEO of the Humane Society of Greater Dayton. "We are honored to have a partner such as Panera Bread and Covelli Enterprises."

The Humane Society of Greater Dayton is a no-kill animal welfare agency, and as a 501(c)(3) nonprofit agency, receives no government funding, instead relying solely on donations from individuals, companies and grants to fund 100% of their programs and services.
