Summer Art Camps at the DAISummer Art Camps at The DAI

Introduce your children to the world of art through Summer Art Camps at the DAI. Campers will explore the museum with fun gallery games, new interdisciplinary art lessons, creative art projects and more. These week-long camps take place throughout the summer, and they are tailored to a variety of age groups and feature many different art activities. Children will learn and get inspired by the museum’s collection and create their own masterpieces using 2D and 3D art-making techniques in our studios and nationally acclaimed Lange Family Experiencenter!

“Art education has been a cornerstone of the Dayton Art Institute since it opened in 1919,” Michael Roediger, Director and CEO said. “As the DAI celebrates its centennial this year, continuing the educational aspect of the museum is a great building block for generations to come, and a great way to introduce children and youth to the arts!”

Art Camps for 2019

Summer Art Camps run from 9 a.m. to 3 p.m., Monday through Friday, and the cost is $165 for members and $180 for non-members. Register for camps online at daytonartinstitute.org/artcamp. For questions about Art Camp, email artcamp@daytonart.org or call 937-223-5277, ext. 335.
