Closing of Hara Arena leads to cancellation of fall booksale
The Friends of the Dayton Metro Library announced today that their fall booksale has been cancelled.
“After receiving Hara Arena's July 29 announcement of its closing in August, the Friends of the Library have been searching for an alternative venue that could be used for the planned October sale,” said Nita Lovell, President of the Friends Executive Committee. “After an extensive review over the past two weeks, it has been concluded that a suitable venue is not going to be available during the planned time period.”
The Friends of the Library will continue researching possible venues for a booksale in the spring of 2017.
