Dayton Aviation Heritage National Historical Park is a unit of the National Park System. The national park commemorates the lives and work of Wilbur and Orville Wright as well as that of writer Paul Laurence Dunbar in their hometown of Dayton. The National Park Service works with several partners in preserving and interpreting sites throughout our area that have significant connections to aviation history. Sites managed by the National Park Service include the Wright-Dunbar Interpretive Center and Wright Cycle Company complex, and the Huffman Prairie Flying Field Interpretive Center.
