The Florentine is a locally owned, classic American Steakhouse Restaurant operated in a 200+ year old building with loads of character and charm.
Looking for line cooks who will be responsible for cooking and preparing food according to recipes and restaurant guidelines while adhering to food safety, food handling, and sanitation procedures. All cooks should understand how to safely handle knives and equipment such as grills, fryers, ovens, broilers, etc. Essential functions and responsibilities of the position vary slightly based on shift(s)and business needs.
Additional Desired Skills:
- Proven cooking experience, including experience as a line chef, restaurant cook or prep cook is a plus
- Accuracy and speed in executing assigned tasks a requirement
- Organized with high attention to detail
- Assists in rotating and dating stock and supplies and properly storing food.
- Demonstrates regular and predictable attendance.
- ServSafe certification a plus
- Must be able to walk/stand for entire shift
Both full-time and part-time available
Pay: $11.00 - $16.00 per hour
