We have an immediate opening for a Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) for our office practice. We are looking for a professional and reliable LPN.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
Phone Triage as well as working alongside our patients, physicians and clinical staff. Communicating patients’ questions, concerns, and abnormalities, along with calling for results, calling orders, etc.
Assists with preparatory activities of charts and patients such as rooming patients, taking vital signs, documenting vital signs, some wound care as well as other procedures.
Greet patients and assists with the patient flow.
Administer injections and record patient history accurately.
Computer data entry and other administrative support duties as assigned.
We work with Allscripts EHR & PM. Also, many other computer programs.
Requirements:
Graduate of an Accredited LPN program
Current State of Ohio LPN license
Current CPR Card
Must have good communication skills (Verbal & Written)
Professional demeanor with patients, staff, and public interactions
Good organization, documentation, and multitasking skills
Previous EMR/ EHR experience is preferred.
This is a part -time position (33 hours per week) with potential for full time hours (40 hours per week). SDACC has excellent benefits including health/dental/ vision, PTO and 401k. Other benefits, one location, 5-day week schedule with weekends off and free parking.
